Healing has no shortcuts

We have just wrapped up our Basic Shamanism course which was a 1-month mentorship this time and I noticed that a lot of the participants seemed impatient and desperate to heal certain core wounds.

The enthusiasm is understandable. Putting our learning into action and “fixing” ourselves is why we learn healing modalities. But I also want to remind everyone that healing does not happen in one day.

We have to remember that we have carried these core wounds for 30/40/50 years now and perhaps even across lifetimes.

These wounds have become our identity.

Hence, the shedding of the skin, peeling of these layers, the journey of UNBECOMING will take time.

Some of us have been working on some core wounds and their different layers for the past 5/10/15/20 years. Every time we dig a different facet/layer shows up.

So it is important to be patient and while some of you are becoming aware of some of your core wounds, it is important to pace out your journey.

Expect miracles but don’t forget to be realistic.

What has taken hundreds of years to be, will take SOME TIME to be UNDONE.

Sometimes this journey of self love or unbecoming takes lifetimes.

If you are in despair and are desperate, are you being a hollow bone?

Could you rather ask, show me the first step – what is it that I need to do right now to transform/transmute this pattern?

What is the lesson that I am ready to embody right now?

And what baby steps can I take to integrate this lesson.

Then focus your energy on integration of these steps in the physical reality.

We all want to heal an issue energetically but we don’t want to feel the pain, process the emotions, change the beliefs, work on learning those lessons and taking ACTIONS IN THE PHYSICAL REALITY.

Not doing the above is like living in a fool’s paradise.

SITTING WITH YOUR PAIN, feeling it fully and processing it is as crucial as desiring to heal it energetically.

Healing has NO SHORTCUTS.

Not everything is about doing a shamanic journey.

Feel it to heal it.

The Shamanic Path to Self-Acceptance

The Shamanic Path to Self-Acceptance

Recently, I was invited as a speaker for the International Spiritual Women Scientist Summit.

International Spiritual Women Scientist Summit.
International Spiritual Women Scientist Summit

A couple of days after the talk, I received a message from one of the participants. She said,

Your session was so powerful. It is because of your voice, not just your teachings, that I kept the video on all along.

This came as a bit of a surprise to me, because historically, my voice has always been judged. People have found me aggressive, arrogant, blunt. They have shamed me for my voice, isolated, rejected and misunderstood me.

So I had developed an imprint that I did not like to hear my own voice. But, that imprint has been slowly changing. And this feedback is so heart-warming that it has made my heart really, really full.

This also makes me realize that all the self work that I have been doing is really paying off.

Many of you may think I must have worked on moderating my tone or taming down my expression in order to be accepted and not judged. But that has not been the case.

Do you know what my real work was and has been?

It was not about changing who I am, but it was about accepting fully who and the way I am.

It was about my connection to nature and allowing it to continue to heal me so that I can be my own true nature. I can be in full acceptance of who I am.

Even today, I find myself judging my own rawness and authenticity. But as time goes by, I keep coming back to my own wisdom that if we have to shine in the glory of our soul, we have to unabashedly continue to be who we are.

And that, in my opinion, is the journey of self love.

If there is one thing that my journey walking the shamanic path has taught me, it is self acceptance.

Shamanism as a way of life teaches us simple tools and ways to help us understand, accept and embody who we are. Most importantly, it teaches us that in this journey, you are not alone. There are a lot of helpers, guides and allies, besides Mother Nature, to help you come into your full glory and splendour.

Are you ready to be unpopular?

Are you ready to shine in the true glory of your own soul?

If yes, then my medicine or my wisdom and teachings are for you.

We begin with a 1-month Foundations of Shamanism on 21st June 2025. To read more about the mentorship, click this link. Or WhatsApp me on 9979901933 to register.

A 1-month mentorship programs begins 21st June.

The Shamanic Path to Self-Acceptance

Shamanism is NOT a quick fix magical solution

An article on Shamanism written by Paul, co-founder of Shamanic Vision, several years ago. Paul is now in the spirit realm.

Shamanism is NOT a quick fix magical solution. Sometimes though it may provide a solution that hits at the core of an issue. It all depends on the guidance that comes through from your Guides and your Soul itself.

Remember, we are working on your Soul here—what the soul wants and does not want.

Sometimes, our souls take on contracts and agreements, a life plan to fulfill. Because of these agreements — which the soul has made prior to its birth — the only understanding that may come through in a shamanic journey is why this situation happened. We can then ask what needs to be done to resolve the issue from your Guides and/or your Soul itself.

Shamanism is not always about fixing the problem. It is about “understanding” the situation.

Shamanism is not always about fixing the problem. It is about “understanding” the situation.
What is Shamanism about?

Sometimes the Soul can heal and the Guides will suggest what to do. The work post guidance has to be done by the client. The shamanic practitioner is just a medium to show you the mirror about what is going on and what needs to be done.

Sometimes, though, accepting a situation, may be the only solution as this is what the Soul wants and has agreed upon.

Although understanding and awareness may throw a lot of light on the issue, post shamanic work is equally important or rather more important. This could be anything from working with your energy bodies to belief changes, working with power integration, building a relationship with your Guides and Power Animals, soul healing and other aspects of health as guided.

Spirits are outside the realms of time and space and hence how much time a particular resolution takes, is an individual situation.

Yet, if one sticks to the guidance and keeps treading the path, miracles are possible.

Transformation is a process. Shamanism is not like taking a pill for headache. One has to feel into it and through it to allow it to transform your mind so you can feel and fully embrace the gifts of your soul. Energy is thick right now with so much warfare upon the planet. You come into this world to elevate that energy and this takes time.

Listen to the whispers of your soul. Think how far you have come instead of seeing as “nothing is happening.”

Once the guidance and next steps have been shared by the practitioner, their work is over. It is difficult to say how much time you will take to embrace, allow and deepen the healing.

The only thing between you and the healing is the will to heal. Allow it. Feel it.

The old seed has been weeded out and the new seed has been planted. It takes time to grow in to a fully nourished tree. Ask your Guides and Power Animals how you need to work at emotional level and with your belief systems to see the results. Continue working with your Power Animals.

Say to yourself again and again: I release the resistance to heal. All is unfolding for my highest good. I allow and am open for the healing that my Guides and Power animals bring me.

Implement the guidance and absorb the lessons which are involved. That’s is the true path to healing.

A Journey Within, The Sea Healing Retreat

A Journey Within, The Sea Healing Retreat

I have been receiving questions on what I will be teaching during the sea healing retreat. What modalities – shamanism or something else.

The sea healing retreat is not about “modalities.” It is as the name suggests all about the SEA and working with the energies of the sea for healing of the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.

Unlike other retreats, where the name suggests “X” and the contents are x, b, cx, a…the Sea Healing Retreat is going to be focussed fully and only SEA as the theme.

We all love the ocean. We feel so relaxed at the sea beach. We feel a magnetic pull towards the sea. We feel we can unwind and be stress free.

But we do not know WHY we feel stress-free or relaxed when we are at the beach. Little do we know that just like the sea is deep, vast and treasure-filled, so are the healing abilities of this mother of all mothers – The Sea.

So no. There are no modalities. There is no shamanism (albeit everything you see, feel, hear, breathe is Shamanism).

This Sea Healing Retreat is open for ALL and gives you an opportunity to “retreat” from your daily hustle and bustle and go within your own quiet self. Dig deep into your core. It allows you to be who you are without any masks. It gently holds your hand and like the sea embraces you unconditionally and takes you into the depths of your great unknown treasures and strengths.

It unlocks you. It deepens you. It expands you. It moistens you. It untames you. It makes you cry. Makes you laugh. Makes you want to fall in love with yourself and your life all over again.

If you feel you would like to rediscover the child-like innocence again and embrace the sea as your mother, want to be nourished and nurtured, and want to dive into the great unknown, COME! The Sea Mother Awaits YOU.

You are never alone

You are never alone

Grandfather sky, the wind spirits, the bird people, father sun called out to me. (In shamanism, we refer to all of nature as all our relations and we call them by addressing them as people. Such as tree people, mountain people, rock people, flower people and so on).

I needed to be in the open to experience the vastness of the sky, the gentle soothing morning breeze on my face, sun and his heat to warm my empty broken spirit and the lightness of the birds – flying overhead, making eye contact and chirping.

Although my knees were hurting, I made an endeavour to climb the staircase to reach the terrace of my building.

Grandfather sky welcomed me with a broad smile. I felt alive. It was as if a protective guardian/Elder was watching over me. The early morning breeze caressed my cheeks and that began my communion with nature.

I walked back and forth, prayed to the sun, watched the birds and suddenly a wave of grief engulfed me.

My body was enjoying the experience and yet I couldn’t understand why grief came upon me.

I walked a couple of rounds on the terrace. It reminded me of the good old days when I have sat on this terrace, did my shamanic work, prayed for my depression and have been showered with many a guidance while I navigate through multiple shamanic initiations in my current journey.

This terrace has beautifully held me, enveloped me with its love, been a container of all my emotions and illnesses. It has been a witness to my twin flame journey when we both went to witness sunrise and prayed for my twin’s hernia surgery.

We have sat there in mild winter sunlight and we have drummed quite a bit as well.

The terrace with the vastness of the sky above it always reminds me and helps me re-member my vastness, grandeur and flight whenever I seem to forget that in the scheme of mundane chores and challenges.

During covid, when I had no one to talk to (Paul was in the US at the time) or after Paul’s passing in 2021, the terrace has been my single most loyal companion.

It has listened to my cries and screams, celebrated my drumming, welcomed my prayers when I sat on the staircase to help departed souls transition with ease during covid. It has been in full partnership with me. I have received from this terrace like I have not received from a human friend.

It has reminded me over and over again that I am not alone and that the whole universe is working with me and for me and is there for me.

So today, as I prayed for divine grace to bring ease to my spiritual journey, I cried and at the same time, felt so much gratitude for this space.

In, shamanism, we believe that EVERYTHING IS ALIVE and everything is connected to everything else. We believe that the entire universe is in partnership with us and co creating with us and for us.

I feel deep gratitude for the terrace holding space for me, co creating with me, present to me and embracing me without judgement or gyaan.

Perhaps it is this unconditional love that brought tears to my eyes.

They were tears of gratitude. And with this gratitude I returned back home to resume my day.
